Probably one of best stores in Texas. A wide selection of fresh food, really well stocked and maintained.

This is the BEST Central Market that my family and I have gone to. It’s clean, organized, and friendly. It’s also very cultural, in that there are imported products sold here, and people from various cultures shop here. We love entering in on the fruits and vegetables section that boasts bright colors and freshness. We especially love the abundant variety of apples! Another favorite stop for us is the bakery, where baked goods are made fresh daily. The aroma is sensational! And, there are bread loaf samples to try. One can also have free samples over in the cheese, and cold cuts departments. There is also a meat and fish market, a bottled wine section, a deli, and a bulk foods area where there is an abundance of coffee beans, cereals, and candies to weigh and bag ourselves. I can not forget to mention the gelato counter, and the cozy indoor and outdoor eating areas! My family and I spend at least one hour at this awesome store!

This review is for the Southlake Central Market Cafe. The only reason I'm giving 2 stars and not 1 is because we've eaten lunch here before, and it was fairly decent. My family and I had breakfast there earlier today and it was literally one of the worst meals I've ever eaten. There is no way the food was freshly made. The scrambled eggs were cold (almost refrigerator cold), the potatoes were cold, the pancakes were luke warm, the toast was burnt. Everything tasted stale and old. And I've never ever seen scrambled eggs before with bits of fried egg in them. I'm convinced they either took food that was returned or not completely eaten and just mixed it all together and reserved it. There was also hair in the eggs. My wife and I have had upset stomachs all afternoon. I should've went back and requested a refund it was that bad, but I didn't bother. I'm actually going to change my review to 1 star. You shouldn't serve old recycled food to the public. It's a serious health risk. We will definitely not be returning here to eat ever. Sucks too, because the set up is actually nice, and the kids' playground makes it a good family place to dine. But Central Market Cafe, you can't be servi

Well, first time @ this Central Market. Been going to the San Antonio location for decades. Literally DECADES. So this iteration of Central Market is not exactly the same as the SA store but has everything you could want. We chose the $250.00 cart-basket. The half baskets are $250.00 where the large baskets are $500.00 easy! Every single employee was beyond Texas Friendly and willing to assist you no matter the question... Extra bonus points for that.. Our new daughter in law had never been to a Central Market. She was floored. So, If you hit the lotto or your independently wealthy or you wanna go into a 30yr mortgage. This store is 4U. Unfortunately the closest store to our casa on South Padre Island is The SA location.. I absolutely love these stores. I will take my grandson soon! This is a generational experience. .. Ooooo! Bring a sweater. It's Cold in here. Plotted Scouts Out..

My daughter said that wanted to go to Central Market so off we went. Since it was such a beautiful day we decided why not have lunch at the Central Market Cafe. Let me start by saying that I have always thought this place is really nice, neat, well organized and very clean. As we approached the register the young man working there was Mr. Jordan, very polite a quick and friendly smile and very welcoming. My daughter order the Roasted Turkey Club sandwich with fries and a drink for $11.00 and drink for $2.50. I had the Cereal Market Cheese burger with fries, fir $12.50 and drink for $2.50. Let me start with my fries, the seasoned to perfection crispy and nice and fresh and hot. The cheese burger was well cooked, but lacked salt, it came with dill pickles, lettuce, tomatoes and onions on the side. Overall the burger was awesome. The roasted turkey club sandwich came with lettuce, tomatoes, roasted turkey, and bacon and she she it was very delicious. We also got a tiramisu cake and sushi from the actual store of central market. Since I don't eat fish or anything seafood, she said it was good. Although we did split the tiramisu cake and is one of the best tiramisu cakes I have ever ea
